You do this by slow pushing up and destroying all units. The first is to eliminate all forces on the Southwest and Eastern bases. Having a strong supply line will keep your flanks from getting over run. Your helicopters will go refuel here on their own while your supply trucks will bring supplies back to your army. FOBs will fill up weapons and fuel of all your units. Once your supply vehicle as supplied a side it can return to the FOB. To do this you make your supply vehicles. As an alternative you can resupply your units. You may want to conserve this ammo so you have the option to turn it off. Some of this ammunition is distinctively anti-tank or used for anti-air. The units will always fire their highest ranged ammunition. The game also introduces you to special ammo types. Ideally you will use recon to spot enemy positions and slowly move your units to pounce on this isolated enemy. Since you are specifically selecting your units at the end of each mission you should know what units you will have available to fit these roles. Each flank will need anti-air, anti-tank, and anti-infantry units. This means balancing off units between the two flanks. The enemy will attack from two flanks so you must defend at least one flank while attacking with another. In this mission you will start off on two flanks. This unit is for skirmishing meaning it will attack with high power attacks and run as soon as it is in danger. They also have a long range meaning once they spot anti-air they can clear out. Helicopters have a distinct advantage in that they can only be hit by units that can hit up. In this mission you will be introduced to helicopters, the concept of “flanks” and your FOB.Īs you will find out, helicopters are quite vulnerable and die to just about anything.
